Summary:
The Cebu underground tour is a tour for the adventurous spirit in you. This tour involves Visiting the world famous local Gun makers, the local Blacksmiths and Knife makers. Spending a day at the range firing all types of small arms which were made locally. We will have an Aeta Jungle survival expert on hand for 1 on 1 instruction during our over night Jungle survival trek. In addition there are many interesting historic sites on Cebu as well as fun and lively night life. This is not the average tour. The $2,000 fee includes hotels, transportation, meals, guides and all instruction. A $400.00 non refundable fee is required by Jan 1st 2015
Airfare to Cebu and back to your home is not included. Alcohol is not included.
ITINERARY
Fort San Pedro and the Carbon market
Fort San Pedro is the original Garrison built by the Spanish in the 1500s. The carbon market is the largest market in Cebu and is located in the area where the locals killed Magellan back in the day
Local gun makers
Cebu / Danao Gun makers are some of the best in the world. Their small shops turn out copies of American Military fire arms left behind in WW2. In addition they make more modern copies of the M16 or M4 rifles.
Silvas knife shop
The oldest knife and blacksmith shop in Cebu. You can buy many styles of Bolo knives there and witness blades being made by the local blacksmiths
Jungle survival trek
The Jungle Survival trek will be led by an Aeta Negrito jungle expert from pamalaklakin near subic bay. We will trek into the jungle and set up camp with hammocks. You will learn basic skills in fire making, shelter construction, locating water from vines or other sources , cooking in bamboo, and the use of a Bolo knife. The Aeta are an indigenous tribe and are believed to be the oldest inhabitants of the Philippines.

We have many other options for adventure at our disposal . In addition we have "tour guides" or "fixers" who speak the local lingo and can get you the best deals on anything you buy. There is excellent regional food and some fun night life.

Tom has worked as a survival consultant, providing outdoor education and survival instruction to various contracting agencies in austere environments world wide.
